August 2011: The Parish Council have funded and managed the renovation of the war memorial at Bradfield Green. This had included new masonry posts, chains, internal flagstones, and gravel. A cobbled perimeter has also been installed to protect the posts against damage during grass cutting operations.
January 2011: The new church hall of St Peters Church has now been opened, and Parish Council meetings will now be held in this new facility. The church hall is available for private hire. Details of this are available from Revd. Philip Goggin on 01270 522213 - website www.stpeterslcmv.co.uk
October 2010: The Parish Council have installed four (4) new noticeboards throughout the parish. These were to replace old or badly positioned boards. The notice boards are situated at Whalleys Green (by Victoria Monument); Bradfield Green (outside the Coach and Horses PH); Barrows Green (outside Leighton CP School); Parkers Road (by the Co-op late shop). The notice boards will contain information related to the Parish Council and other community relted items.

August 2010: A large ash tree adjacent to the War Memorial at Bradfield Green has been cut down and removed due to concerns regarding its stability. It is the Parish Councils intention to replace it with a young tree in the future.
July 2010: Vehicle Speed Management - The Parish Council are active supporters of vehicle speed compliance and excessive speed reduction within our ward areas. Following our successful use of hand held vehicle speed detectors, the Parish Council have purchased a trailer mounted vehicle speed indication device. This will be regularly positioned at authorised sites throughout the Parish. Please contact any of the Parish Councillors if you have specific concerns regarding speeding traffic.
June 2010: Parish Council meetings will be held in the church of St Peters untill further notice, pending completion of the new build church hall.
